About the Staterooms (Cabins)

 
First of all, the term "Stateroom" is just another word for "Cabins". And the term "Berth" is just another word for "Bed". I know that is very confusing to many people.

The cabins on each vessel vary by size and layout and not all vessels in the Alaska Marine Highway fleet have cabins. Cabins are reserved by type, not room number. The purser sets up cabin assignments prior to check in.
